Time doesn’t heal all wounds, but time plus a process can.

What I do.

  • PTSD & Complex PTSD treatment

    PTSD & Complex PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is an emotional injury that can develop after a period of acute distress. It affects our moods and thoughts, creates hypervigilance to danger or relationships, and flashbacks and/or nightmares. Complex PTSD is often the result of childhood relational trauma and, further to the above, affects our sense of self, relationships and functioning.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR & Schema therapy are recommended to help stabilise emotions, reduce trauma triggers, and develop relational skills and a healthy sense of self.

  • Clinical psychology for anxiety and mood

    Mood Conditions

Mood conditions include anxiety, depression, normative or complicated grief, bipolar and panic. I work with you to understand the context and causes of the issue.

I treat mood conditions with a variety of modalities including ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR

  • Counselling for relational trauma

    Relational Trauma

Relational trauma refers to the traumatic impacts of unhealthy relationships. This can occur through things that happen to us, such as abuse, abandonment or betrayal, and can also occur because of the chronic absence of things we have needed, such as a lack of safe or loving relationships, or difficulty expressing what we think, feel and need.

Relational trauma commonly affects our self-esteem, emotions, beliefs about ourselves, boundaries and relationships.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR & Schema therapy are recommended to help stabilise emotions, reduce trauma triggers, and develop relational skills and a healthy sense of self.
